What The Bargain Is About
Jim Stokes is a bandit. He is known around there as the Two-Gun Man. He robs the stage. He is wounded as he flees. He begins to recover at a ranch. There he falls in love with a settler’s daughter. He now wants to go straight. But the sheriff learns where he is. The sheriff getting wind of it changes everything. The sheriff is not entirely honest himself. So Stokes is in trouble again. The account runs western, adventure and romance together. William S. Hart and Clara Williams take the leads, with J. Frank Burke and J. Barney Sherry also in the cast, in Reginald Barker’s American film of 1914.
