What The Belles of St Trinian's Is About
At St Trinian's, lessons, homework and hockey interest nobody; the girls are occupied with betting, fighting and schemes. The headmistress, Miss Fritton, is drowning in debt. In the same week Princess Fatima of Makyad arrives at the school and the recently expelled Arabella returns with a plan to kidnap a valuable racehorse. Frank Launder's film came out of Ronald Searle's cartoons and turned into a long series.
