On 20 November 2012, fifteen year old Andrea Spezzacatena took his own life after months of being targeted at school and online. What his classmates had seized on was a pair of red trousers, a present from his mother, that came out of the wash pink. Margherita Ferri tells the true story from after the fact, staying with a mother going back over her son’s life and noticing, one by one, everything she was never shown. The film presents bullying not as one person’s cruelty but as a habit that nobody interrupted. Claudia Pandolfi plays the mother.
