What The Business Is About
The mid-eighties. Frankie gets out of South East London, away from his mother's violent boyfriend and from having no future, and goes to Spain with a package to deliver. Charlie, who receives it, takes him on, and Frankie is suddenly in a world of fast cars, cocaine and English criminals settled on the Costa del Sol. Nick Love shows the life as both seductive and something that eventually eats people, though the film is itself rather taken with the seduction. Danny Dyer plays the lead. Drugs, violence, and a coarse attitude to women.
