What The City of Violence Is About
Tae-su is a detective working organised crime who goes home for a school friend's funeral. He meets the three friends who are left, they talk about old times, and the sense that the death was not an accident does not go away. The further he looks, the more the trail runs to a land development scheme and to one of those friends. Ryoo Seung-wan runs a friendship story and a fight film at once, and the long street brawl in the middle is a classic of the genre.
