What The Days of Being Dumb Is About
Ah Fai and Ah Kei are two incompetents who will do anything to make a name in the triad world of Hong Kong. Every job they take ends in disaster, and before long they are held to be bad luck; whichever boss they attach themselves to, something happens to him. Neither of them gives up despite the reputation, and they keep trying with a ridiculous stubbornness. Blackie Ko’s ninety one minute Hong Kong film tells the gangster genre inside out, from the side of the losers. Jacky Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu-wai take the leads, with Eric Tsang and Anita Yuen also appearing. It was completed in 1992.
