What The Double Is About
Denev is a scholar who knows his field. He is quiet and shy. Around him he is not valued as he should be. He also has a dissertation to finish. But he can never find the time for it. His cousin Ivan comes to him with an offer. Ivan manages a shop. He is a man skilled with people. The two of them look alike. The offer is that they change places. That way Denev will have time for his work. But the game soon runs out of hand. Todor Kolev plays both of the parts. Todor Kolev and Nadya Todorova take the leads, with Pavel Popandov and Georgi Rusev also in the cast, in Nikolay Volev’s Bulgarian film of 1980.
