What The Key Is About
A four year old boy is left at home on his own. His baby brother is there with him. Their mother has gone out shopping. Before leaving she told him to give the baby his bottle. The boy, though, has other ideas. He drinks most of the milk in the bottle himself. The hungry baby starts crying. The sound reaches the neighbours. They gather at the door and try to get inside. The door is locked and the boy will not open it. Whether he cannot or simply will not is never clear. There are several dangerous moments inside the flat. The boy gets through each of them. The neighbours shout advice from behind the door. Tension and comedy run at the same time. Mahnaz Ansarian and Abbas Jafari appear in the eighty five minute film, an Iranian production Ebrahim Forouzesh finished in 2000.
