The Killers

Kilas is the nickname of a small time confidence man. The name is a mangled version of an English word. The man lives in the house of his godmother. She had pulled him out of a childhood of poverty. Kilas is with a variety artist. Her name is Pepsi-Rita and he lives off her. He is cunning and talks people round easily. That is why he is put at the head of a group. The person who hires them is a major nobody can place. The job is to watch a building. They are told that the people going in are suspicious. Kilas reports what he sees. A bomb then goes off in that house. The man works out what he is part of and wants out. Mário Viegas and Lia Gama appear in the hundred and twenty four minute film, a Portuguese and Brazilian co-production José Fonseca e Costa finished in 1980.
