A young man working at a bakery near Marseille loses his job and joins a group of thieves his own age. At first the jobs are small: robbing a shop, emptying a car, doing what he is told. Because he does as he is told, those above him give him bigger work and the money grows; but he has neither the experience nor the years to carry that risk. After a few mistakes he falls much faster than he rose. Erick Zonca’s sixty three minute French film was made for television and shows the criminal world without lending it any glamour; Nicolas Duvauchelle appears. It was completed in 1999.
