What The Migrumpies Is About

Two unemployed friends, Benny and Marko, catch the eye of a television producer in one of the outer districts of Vienna; she is looking for characters for a new documentary series. Both have an immigrant background, but they do not fit the story she wants at all, so they start behaving like unemployed petty criminals who match every cliche about foreigners. The lie works, then gets out of hand, and the life they invented comes back at them. Arman T. Riahi built the film not as a story about integration but as a comedy that makes fun of the expectation of it. Faris Rahoma and Aleksandar Petrovic appear in the ninety eight minute Austrian production, completed in 2017.
