The Return of Sergeant Lapins

Krists Lapins comes back from a mission abroad. His recovery is behind him. He moves into a quiet neighbourhood in Riga. He wants to build a peaceful life. One night there is a knock at his door. The caller is someone he did not expect. After that visit things get tangled. Krists finds himself in the middle of events. A blonde woman comes into it. So does a man who takes himself for a detective. A bankrupt rich man joins the account. A by-the-book policeman circles around them. Nothing is what it seems. The film looks at Latvia as it is today. Andris Keišs and Baiba Broka appear in the eighty minute film, a Latvian and Swedish production Gatis Šmits finished in 2010.
