What The Sixth Child Is About
Franck deals in scrap, he and Meriem have five children with a sixth on the way, and there is never enough money for anything. Julien and Anna are lawyers with a comfortable life and no children. The two couples meet, and an arrangement is made that none of them can say out loud: the baby will be raised by the other family. It is illegal, and it is impossible for all four of them to want the same thing. Léopold Legrand refuses to turn it into either melodrama or a moral lesson, and lets each of them have their reasons. Ninety minutes with nothing padded, and it does not resolve neatly. Sara Giraudeau and Benjamin Lavernhe star.
