What The Trip to Panama Is About
Little Tiger and Little Bear, who live together in a small house by the lake, one day find a wooden crate in the water. The crate has Panama written on it and smells of bananas; both of them picture it as a place where everything is bigger, better and sweeter, and they decide to set off. Along the way they meet other animals, a fox, a mouse and a crow, lose their way again and again, and in the end the place they reach is not what they thought. The seventy minute German animation by Martin Otevrel and Guido Schmelich was adapted from the children’s book by Janosch; it was completed in 2006.
