Two young men are the despair of the youth organisation at the factory: Anatoly Grachkin and his friend Viktor Gromoboyev. It has already been decided to dismiss them when Nadya Berestova, the small, funny woman everyone at the plant likes, takes them under her wing. She accepts the job at first with reluctance and some apprehension, but in time it becomes the most important thing in her life. The film has the light tone of Soviet comedy at the end of the fifties, carrying the workplace, the young and the business of straightening somebody out all at once. Nadezhda Rumyantseva plays the lead in Yuri Chulyukin’s seventy six minute film, completed in 1959.
