What The Waiting Room Is About
Anna and Stephen do not know each other. Each of them is living a life of their own. One day their paths cross. What brings that about is an elderly man. The man is waiting for his wife at a station. While he waits on the platform he brings the two together. The meeting shakes both of them. Anna looks again at her own relationship. Stephen does the same. There are decisions each of them has to make. They are not easy, but they cannot be put off. If they change their lives they may meet again. Anne-Marie Duff and Ralf Little take the leads, with Frank Finlay and Rupert Graves also in the cast, in Roger Goldby’s British film of 2007.
