What The White Angel Is About
The film is a sequel to an earlier one. Guido is still thinking about Luisa. In the years between she has become a nun. She is inside another life now. Guido suffers great losses of his own. He loses his son and then his family. One day he meets a woman called Lina. Lina dances in a revue. Her face resembles Luisa’s to a startling degree. Guido is drawn in by the likeness. Lina has troubles of her own, though. She ends up in prison and gives birth to a child there. The melodrama turns around the two women. Amedeo Nazzari and Yvonne Sanson appear in the ninety seven minute film, an Italian production Raffaello Matarazzo finished in 1955.
