The Wingwalker

He was widowed young and is raising a daughter alone. The girl's heart is failing and her transplant in the United States is close to being scheduled. At exactly that point he is deported and left in Mexico. There is no legal way back and no way to wait, because the date of the operation is fixed. He works out a way of crossing the border that nobody has tried. The film sets this up not as an escape story but as a father racing a clock. Alonso Alvarez directs; a hundred and seventeen minutes, with Omar Chaparro in the lead and Will Rothhaar, Max Arciniega, Héctor Jiménez and Jesús Ochoa in the cast. The English title comes from the term for someone who walks on the wing of an aircraft; the Spanish title means A Journey to the Heart.
