What Those Who Work Is About
Frank built everything he has himself; he charters cargo ships for large companies and lives with a phone at his ear. When a crisis arises on one of the vessels he makes a calm, fast and terrible decision: he writes off a stowaway. He is fired for it. The summaries pass this off as merely a brutal decision, when it is the entire subject of the film, an order given in the name of efficiency that means a person's death. What follows is the man questioning himself and trying to save the bond with his youngest daughter. Olivier Gourmet plays it without ever defending him.
