Through My Window 3: Looking at You

The last film of the trilogy, drawn from Ariana Godoy's series of novels. Marçal Forés directed all three, with Clara Galle and Julio Peña in the leads from the first film onward. Raquel and Ares split at the end of summer, this time believing it is final. Winter brings them both back to Barcelona. They see other people, they try to forget, they fail, and the real obstacle turns out to be pressure from Ares's family. It went straight to Netflix on 23 February 2024. The first film was about a girl watching her neighbour through a window; by the third, that voyeuristic hook is gone and what remains is a straightforward story of a breakup and a return. Winter Barcelona gives the series its first genuinely cold backdrop. Who it is for: viewers who have followed the series and want to know how these two end. Who it is not for: anyone starting here. The film assumes both previous instalments, and the script repeats the same break-and-reconcile loop without adding anything.
