What Tiger Girl Is About
Lena, who works at the circus as an animal keeper, dreams of becoming a tiger tamer; but nobody believes a girl could go into the cage. The famous motorcyclist Fedya is brought to the same circus for a stunt, and between the two young people both rivalry and closeness begin. When Lena enters the cage for the first time, what everyone expected does not happen; she has to deal both with the tigers and with the doubt of the men around her. It became one of the most watched comedies of post-war Soviet cinema. The hundred and one minute Soviet comedy by Aleksandr Ivanovsky and Nadezhda Kosheverova was shot with real circus acts; Lyudmila Kasatkina appears.
