Martin is a football prodigy of sixteen, taken out of Sweden and signed by Inter. Everything is laid on in Milan: the facilities, the money, the attention. But getting into the team is another matter. Martin is alone, he does not have the language, he is measured constantly, and he has to hold his place every day. The pressure starts building somewhere out of sight. Ronnie Sandahl directed the film from Martin Bengtsson's own book. Bengtsson left football at eighteen and wrote about it at nineteen. The film is about the mental health of young athletes and makes nothing about it look attractive. It was submitted as Sweden's Oscar entry. Erik Enge plays Martin.
