Bor, in eastern Serbia, once held the largest copper mine in Europe, and what is left of it now is mostly a hole. Two teenagers growing up in the town slowly realise that the summer they spent on skateboards and on the videos they filmed themselves is over; the visit of a friend who emigrated to France upsets the balance between them, and an adult world with no room for idealism arrives at the door. Nikola Lezaic’s ninety nine minute film tells that passage by observing closely rather than by making speeches about it. The Serbian production won both best film and best actor at the Sarajevo Film Festival and was nominated for best first feature at the European Film Awards in 2011. Marko Todorovic and Stefan Dordevic star.
