Lidia Biondi I Ianniello Amerigo What To Want to Fly Is About
Maurizio works in a dubbing studio putting sound effects into cartoons. A creaking door, a fall, an explosion. One day his hands turn into cartoon hands. Not only in appearance: they move on their own, make their own decisions and do not listen to him. It happens just as he is starting to get close to someone, so he has to keep them hidden. Maurizio Nichetti directs and plays the part himself. Live action and animation run into each other throughout, and the method becomes the story rather than a trick played on top of it. It is a comedy, but a comedy built on embarrassment.
