Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light

Tony has glowed since the day he was born. It brings him a good deal of trouble. Shortly before Christmas someone new moves into the house. Shelly is an odd girl with thick glasses. Her way of expressing herself is unusual. Tony is taken with her. He is careful around her at the start all the same. The two explore the house with Shelly’s flashlight. They get to know each other slowly. Dark cracks appear in the house. The cracks drain the light from the bulbs. Even the daylight goes. The children set out to find who is behind it. The spirit of the house is spoken of. The film is about being different. Friendship and the love felt in childhood are part of it too. Michael Polák and Antonie Baresová provide voices in the eighty minute film, a Czech, Hungarian and Slovak production Filip Pošivač finished in 2023.
