What Too Beautiful to Lie Is About
Young-joo has just come out of prison and is a professional swindler. She lifts the wallet of Hee-chul, who is sitting next to her on the train, and one look at his identity card gives her a much bigger idea. Hee-chul runs a pharmacy in the provinces and is a quiet man whose family are trying to get him married. Young-joo goes straight to his village and introduces herself as his fiancée. The whole family believes it; the only one who does not is Hee-chul. Bae Hyeong-jun's Korean romantic comedy stars Kim Ha-neul and Gang Dong-won. Rather than making the lying woman adorable, Kim Ha-neul plays her tired and stubborn. The crowded family scenes are the best thing in it.
