Bob Probert was a hockey player known for how hard he played. He played for the Detroit and Chicago teams. What his job on the ice mostly came to was fighting. The documentary moves through archive footage and what the people close to him say. His wife Dani and his children are among those speaking. The film tells what came after the career as much as the career itself. Probert collapsed on his boat and died in 2010. After his death, damage from repeated blows was found in his brain. So the account also takes up what the violence in hockey costs. Geordie Day’s film of 2018 runs ninety four minutes.
