What TT3D: Closer to the Edge Is About
The Isle of Man TT is a motorcycle race run on closed public roads and counted among the deadliest races in the world. The documentary covers its history, the rivalries between riders and why they take the risk, with the unusual figure of Guy Martin at the centre. Cameras ride on the bikes, passing walls at more than two hundred kilometres an hour. It was shot in 3D, but the images hold up flat as well. The hardest part is this: riders really die during the race, and the documentary does not hide it.
