What Ultrà Is About

Members of one of Rome's supporter groups get on the train for the big match in Turin. Principe, the former leader just out of prison, is set against his friend Red, who has taken over the group, over both the leadership and a woman. The tension grows through the journey, and a street fight with another group before the match ends with someone dead. Ricky Tognazzi was among the first in Italian cinema to take ultra culture directly as a subject, and won the best director prize at Berlin for it. Gianmarco Tognazzi in the cast is the director's brother.
