Diego is a Venezuelan urban planner, Elena a dancer from Barcelona. Their visas are approved and they arrive to begin a life in the United States. At the airport they are pulled aside into the secondary inspection room, and almost the entire film stays in there with them. The questions start routine, turn personal, then become humiliating: phones, messages, an old relationship, all laid out on the table.
