What Uunchai Is About
Amit, Om, Javed and Bhupen are four friends who have come a long way in life. Bhupen has wanted all his life to go to Everest with the other three, and the moment he says so at a gathering the idea is shot down. After Bhupen dies suddenly, the remaining three leave their comfortable Delhi lives and set out to trek to Everest Base Camp, with friendship as the only reason. Sooraj Barjatya stepped away from the family romances he is known for with this one and worked with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. The Rajshri Productions film was shot above seventeen thousand feet and opened on 11 November 2022. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra are also in the cast.
