Velvet Hustler

Goro is a young yakuza hitman. He does a job in Tokyo. Afterwards he has to get out of the city. He goes to Kobe and lies low. He lives an easy life there. The people around him are hard men. He manages to stay a step ahead of the police. During his exile a murder takes place. Suspicion falls on him. Around the same time he meets a woman. She is the daughter of a wealthy jeweller. She has come to Kobe looking for her fiance. A strange bond forms between the two. There is something Goro does not know. Another hitman is after him for the Tokyo job. Tetsuya Watari and Ruriko Asaoka appear in the ninety seven minute film, a Japanese production Toshio Masuda finished in 1967.
