Vi er allesammen tossede

Alex Alexander comes out of the tax office. The meeting has left him thoroughly on edge. To clear his head he drives out into the countryside. On the road he collides with an elephant. The elephant has got out of a nearby circus. When the police stop him he tells them what happened. But nobody believes what he says. The man is committed to a hospital. The decision is made by the same offices his taxes pay for. The doctor tries to get him to accept that there was no elephant. Alex for his part is sure of what he saw. On the same ward there is a man called Knudsen. Knudsen teaches him to look at it from another angle. Kjeld Petersen and Dirch Passer take the leads, with Jessie Rindom also in the cast, in Sven Methling’s Danish film of 1959.
