What Via Park Is About
Beto is the keeper of a house in Mexico City. The house has stood empty for years. He used to work there as a domestic servant. He has spent the last ten years alone. His days go by in the same tasks. The monotony might feel suffocating to someone else. To him it gives a safe and settled world. He is afraid of the outside and does not go out into it. The number of people he sees has come down to two. One is the woman who owns the house. He feels gratitude to her and does as she says. The other is Lupe, who is both his friend and his lover. One day he learns the house has been sold. Beto is caught between leaving and staying. Nolberto Coria and Nancy Orozco appear in the eighty two minute film, a Mexican production Enrique Rivero finished in 2008.
