Jjang-gu grew up in a strict household. His older brother and sister got into good schools. He did not. He is the one child at home who is trouble. The school he attends has a bad name in Busan. The teachers keep order by hitting. The pupils form groups among themselves. Jjang-gu joins one of them, called Monster. Joining works like a rite of passage. There is a hierarchy inside the school and he learns it. He also likes a girl named Joo-hee. The film shows a high school as it is. The story rests on the school years of Jung Woo, who wrote it himself. Few people saw it in cinemas and it found its audience later on television. Jung Woo and Hwang Jung-eum appear in the hundred and eight minute film, a South Korean production Lee Seong-han finished in 2009.
