Yasmin

Yasmin is a woman of Pakistani background living in England. She leads two separate lives. In her neighbourhood she dresses according to tradition. She cooks for her father and her brother. On her way to work she changes her clothes. At the office she is an employee like any other. She has a close friend at work. Her family married her to Faysal. Faysal has no right to stay in the country. The marriage is on paper alone. Yasmin plans to divorce him after a while. The air changes after the September attacks. The way she is seen at work changes. She meets the same thing on the street. Under that pressure Yasmin takes a side. She builds her life again accordingly. Archie Panjabi and Renu Setna appear in the eighty seven minute film, a German and British production Kenneth Glenaan finished in 2004.
