What Yellow Rose Is About
The film is the second in the series built around a character called Margelatu. The adventure that began in the Road of the Eagles carries on here. Margelatu and his companions buy weapons in Vienna. The money for them comes from selling the heirlooms and valuables Tudor Vladimirescu left for that purpose. Getting the weapons into the country is not easy, and they meet a run of obstacles on the way. What they do contributes to the preparation of the revolution that broke out in the Romanian lands in 1848. The film is built as a costume adventure. Florin Piersic and Marga Barbu appear in Doru Năstase’s Romanian film of 1982, a hundred and two minutes long.
