Yeshwant

Yeshwant Lohar is a police officer. In an undercover operation he arrests a drug dealer. But afterwards a murder is pinned on him and he goes to prison. The one who does it is his own supervisor, Salim Shaikh. Salim is involved in distributing narcotics. Yeshwant’s wife Ragini is determined to prove her husband innocent. Salim tries first to intimidate her and then to buy her off. Neither works. So Salim puts out false photographs. The pictures show Ragini with a police officer, Atul. This shakes Yeshwant’s faith in his wife. Nana Patekar and Madhoo take the leads in Anil Mattoo’s Indian film of 1997.
