Zeynep lives in a small house with her young daughter and her mother. When she is unfairly dismissed from her job, the living of a household of three is left with nothing under it. In a city where unemployment is everywhere, even finding ordinary work is not possible. With the landlord Kudret pressing her over what she owes, Zeynep accepts a job she finds outside the city and sets off. The film follows a single character, uses a handheld camera and was shot with real workers in real factories. The account shows poverty not as an event but as the sum of the days. Jale Arikan plays the lead in Erdem Tepegoz’s eighty minute film, completed in 2012.
