Plot
The re-edited, extended, serialized cut of Quentin Tarantino's 2015 Western. Some years after the Civil War, bounty hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell) escorts fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) to face justice in the town of Red Rock. As a blizzard closes in, they seek refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass, but on arrival they are greeted not by the proprietor but by unfamiliar faces. And as the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, the travelers realize they may not make it to Red Rock after all…

How the Pulse Score works
For series, Pulse starts from the IMDb rating shrunk by vote count, then applies FORMAT CALIBRATION. Series score systematically higher than films on IMDb, so using the raw number would unfairly push a show like The Hateful Eight to the top of a film catalogue. Calibration maps the series distribution onto the film one; meaning 74 is COMPARABLE to a film with the same Pulse.
One more difference from films: Letterboxd does not track series, so series Pulse derives from a single source (IMDb) rather than two.
