Jane Seymour
8 films · 4 series
The film in which Jane Seymour was billed as and introducing was the James Bond picture Live and Let Die, although the AFI writes that she had appeared a year earlier in Young Winston, a credit missing from our own cast list. Guy Hamilton directed it with Roger Moore as Bond, she was Solitaire, and the shooting went on in New York, New Orleans and Jamaica. In Somewhere in Time she played Elise McKenna. Jeannot Szwarc directed that one, with Christopher Reeve opposite her, and it was shot entirely on Mackinac Island in Michigan and in Chicago; the island was chosen because its Victorian-era fabric had been left largely untouched by modern technology. A Screen Actors Guild strike kept her from attending the promotional weekend in September 1980 and from publicising the film. The French Revolution, Wedding Crashers and High Strung fill out her entries.
