Niels Schneider

Niels Schneider won the male newcomer César for Diamant Noir, a film that falls outside our catalogue. His second item is a nomination in the lead category, for Emmanuel Mouret's Love Affair(s), in a year when the award went to Sami Bouajila. Xavier Dolan directed two of the ten films listed for him, I Killed My Mother and Heartbeats, and those two lead the vote count at 1,165 and 1,055; third place goes to Dalida at 273, more than four times behind the pair. Five of the ten gather between 2016 and 2019, the earliest dated 2009 and the last 2026. Dolan aside, no director recurs; the other eight have eight different ones.
