Ray Liotta

Reviewing a Muppet film, Leslie Felperin writes that the series once drew big names like Michael Caine and Orson Welles and that the human performers this time are a sad B-list, counting Ray Liotta and Andie MacDowell among them. He has two Independent Spirit items, and the one he won is not his alone: his part in Narc left him a nominee in the supporting male category, where the award went to Dennis Quaid, while the win is the Robert Altman award, which the ensemble of Marriage Story carries, eleven names at once. Felperin adds that the series lost vitality after Jim Henson's death, and that is the frame his B-list verdict sits inside.
