What Dominick and Eugene Is About
Dominick and Eugene are twins. An accident in childhood left Dominick slow; he works as a garbage man and pays for his brother's medical training out of what he earns. Eugene is close to qualifying and is offered a place at Stanford. Taking it would mean leaving Dominick behind. And somewhere in Dominick's memory is something about that childhood accident he does not want to remember. Robert M. Young directs, with Tom Hulce as Dominick and Ray Liotta as Eugene, and Jamie Lee Curtis also in the cast. It is set in Pittsburgh. The film treats brotherhood not as sacrifice but as a price both of them are paying.
