Vince Vaughn

Two bodies set against each other: that is how Gavin Smith compares Vince Vaughn's Norman Bates, in Gus Van Sant's remake of Hitchcock's Psycho, with the first actor's. Anthony Perkins was slight and brittle, full of nervous movement; Vaughn is a sturdy, grounded physical presence, masculine in a more familiar way, and yet his baby face gives off a childishness too.
