22 December 1989, 12:08: Ceaușescu flees Bucharest by helicopter. Sixteen years later, a small television station in a provincial town goes live to argue one question: was there a revolution in our town? Meaning, did anyone come out into the square before 12:08, or did everyone come down once it was already over? Around the table are the presenter, a history teacher in debt, and a pensioner who dresses as Santa Claus; viewers phone in to contradict them. Corneliu Porumboiu's first film, and it took the Caméra d'Or at Cannes. The second half is almost a single shot.
