What 2 Harihar Nagar Is About
Four men who grew up together in Harihar Nagar go back after many years to revisit the place. The reunion plays as comedy until a woman enters the picture and one of them disappears, at which point the film turns into something closer to a thriller. Lal wrote and directed it as a sequel to In Harihar Nagar, which he had made with Siddique in 1990, and he brought all four original actors back nineteen years later. That continuity explains most of its box office: the audience already knew these people. Flashbacks to 1980 show how the friendship began. A third film, In Ghost House Inn, followed in 2010.
