2012: Time for Change

The documentary puts forward a case. Its case is that the present order cannot be sustained. In its place the film proposes something else. What it proposes is a change of culture on a planetary scale. That rests on two things. One is a change of consciousness, personal and collective. The other is putting ecological design into general use. The film takes those two headings through examples. The people who speak come from different fields. Daniel Pinchbeck, a writer, is among them. So is Maude Barlow, who works on water rights. The film does not follow a plain documentary form. Its visual language has experimental elements. It is a co-production of five countries. Gerald Celente also speaks in the eighty five minute film, finished by Joao G. Amorim in 2010.
