5 Minutes Too Late

A film is being screened at a cinema in Bucharest. The screening is of a film on an LGBT subject. Trouble breaks out in the hall. A gendarme unit arrives at the scene. At the head of the unit is a commander. Afterwards that man’s life changes. His story is at the centre of the film. A journalist looks into the matter. The journalist is called Liliana Calomfir. She is young but known for her bold reporting. As the inquiry goes on the details of the event come out. The account is built through that inquiry. Mihai Calin and Diana Cavallioti take the leads, with Emanuel Parvu and Adrian Titieni also in the cast, in Dan Chisu’s Romanian film of 2019.
