A Dysfunctional Cat

Mina’s family has introduced her to a few possible husbands in Iran. She has turned all of them down. Then she meets Kian. Kian is a surgeon and he has come from Germany. What he came for is to find a wife. The two of them meet under those terms. The account is built on the question of marriage. The distance between Iran and Germany is inside the film as well. An arranged introduction is where the account begins. How a marriage is to be built is the film’s real question. Pegah Ferydoni and Hadi Khanjanpour take the leads, with Henrike von Kuick and Arash Marandi also in the cast, in Susan Gordanshekan’s German film of 2018.
